Description:
Banded tulip, Photo by David Byres The Banded Tulip is greenish-gray or orange to brown in color with white patches, which run vertical and widely spaced brown spiral lines.

The Tulip shell has 7-8 whorls with very light suture marks.

The foot of Fasciolaria buntaria is coal black with small white specks.
