2005 Update

Our kids are now aged 8 and 6 so are objecting to their "baby pictures" still being on the internet. So here are some more recent shots.

Although Alec is two years older our kids are almost the same size: Alec is a little taller, and Sasa (or Sarah as her grandparents insist) is a little heavier. People still ask "Are they twins?" so we plan to get two T-shirts for them. One will say "Yes, we are twins", the other will say "No, we are not!". That should clarify everything.

In the summer of 2004 we took the kids back on the Visit the Scottish Relatives Tour. They blended in really well until they started talking!
The kids enjoyed the unusual sight of hills which are of course in short supply in Jacksonville.

Things were not always as sickly sweet as the photo below suggests. Some of the public statues in Scotland also got their attention. No wonder the Puritans left for the United States!

For some reason the sight of their relatives seemed to keep the kids quiet for a while. The highlight of the trip was the visit to the Moniaive Opium farm, where the kids worked for a few days.
