Steps in Steve's Computer lab

  1. Install plugin from disk or get it from the web.  If you are using XP you may have to get it from the web.
  2. Use the chemdraw plugin to fill out 2 star maps of reactions.  View a tutorial if you want to.
    1. Starmap1
    2. Star Map 2
  3. Print out the following page:
    1. Bond Lengths and radii
    2. Examine the following molecules to answer the questions
      1. hydrogen
      2. ethane
      3. chloroethane
      4. iodoethane
      5. ethene
      6. ethyne
  4. Examine and then print out the page on sterics
  5. Examine and then print out the page on Sn2
